We are extremely proud to be Hydraulink distributors in Picton. Over our 30-year relationship with Hydraulink, our company has grown with them by our side. The security we have from the brand and its quality products and backup is second to none.
As companies, we share the same values. Like Gregory Engineering, Hydraulink prides itself on old-school standards of service and quality.
Hydraulink Distributors Conference Follow-Up
This October, the annual Hydraulink Distributors conference was on our Picton doorstep. It took place in and around Blenheim.
The conference is an excellent opportunity to sit alongside a fantastic group of like-minded peers. The Hydraulink family is a unique team of people from the Directors, and CEO through to Upper Managers, and staff who all do their utmost to make our businesses as Hydraulink distributors the best we can be.
Catering for everyone’s children and partners, they go all out to embrace our families and teams of staff. At Gregory Engineering, we aim to make this conference our go-to event every year to get an injection of yellow in our veins and an opportunity to hear about new lines or products coming to market. The conference always inspires us, driving our business goals for the year ahead.
But, on a lighter note, it’s also a great chance to catch up and let our hair down with some lifelong friends!
This year one of the highlights was the conference coming to Marlborough. As a local business, it was good to know that one of our partner’s conferences was injecting income into other local businesses in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Key speakers this year embraced the business challenges all distributors have faced. We received excellent grounding and insights into concentrating on things we can control.
The awards dinner took place in the beautiful cellar room of Wither Hills. Gregory Engineering was nominated for three major awards.
- Highest Sales South Island
- Most Improved Growth by Percentage
- The Ultimate Supreme Award.
The Gala night is always a hit with our Gregory Family. The themed event is a fabulous annual opportunity for Pauline to let her creative monster out of the cupboard!
Pauline makes our costumes from scratch and puts an innovative spin on the theme. So, we have become known for our out-the-box costumes.
This year the theme was 1940s Vintage. It was held in the incredible Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, unleashing a room full of wartime heroes and attire.
However, the Gregorys went as 1940s Vintage Wine! Scoring Best Dressed Team, once again, we love getting our silly on.
As Hydraulink partners and marine engineers at Gregory Engineering, we have a growing customer base in Picton and beyond. If you have experience and are interested in joining us in a mobile yellow truck, touch base. There are opportunities open from time to time.
